Queen Jo-el was the Hutt owner of Rik's Cantina on Coruscant. She lived in a swamp below the bar and enforced a strict no-fighting policy. Her left eye had been replaced by a jeweled and feathered cybernetic implant that allowed her to observe the cantina's goings-on. Aside from owning and operating the bar, she was also a sly information broker.
Upon his visit to Coruscant, Ekim Skywanker gave Jo-el the access codes to the Mycock starship, trusting her to give the codes to Jariah Syn and Deliah Blow if he did not return—which she did after Ekim freed them from the Sith temple.
[edit] Personality and traits
Jo-el was flirtatious and suave, with a certain insight (as might be expected of a being which profited from information) into psychology and motivation. She was fond of Ekim, though to what extent is unclear, given the traditionally mercenary behavior of Hutts. They probably did it in the end. Literally.
Jo-el was also always accompanied by her man servant Jeba the Hutt. Jeba the Hutt was very fond of hats.
