Spaceballs

A spaceball is a type of ball found in deep regions of space. They are usually spherical but can be ovoid. The most common balls are made from hydrogen, plasma, and carbonite. The creation of spaceballs remains a mystery. Ancient Gungan texts describe them as "star babies", though stars have not been proven to reproduce in any sexual manner.

Spaceballs are often carried around in sacks of two. They are usually involved in the refining of spice, though occasionally the Jedi masters give them to younglings to play with and put in their mouths.

Occasionally when two spaceballs are carried together, one may enlarge or develop lumps or hardness. In such a situation, the owner of the spaceballs should consult a doctor for further examination.
