Salacious Crumb was the court jester for Jabba the Hutt until his death on Jabba's sail barge. His only appearance on-screen was in Star Wars 6.
Crumb was formerly a Jedi apprentice who was expelled from the Jedi Order for posting a racial diatribe on the internal Jedi network featuring scathing comments against Mace Windu. He also claimed to possess a holocron with incriminating information of a sexual nature of Windu which he hoped to use in a blackmail operation. The holocron was rumored to feature Windu and a clone trooper engaged in various acts of impurity. He was released and spent the next few years wandering the galaxy. Eventually, he arrived on Tattooine and was hired by the Hutts as a cocktail waiter. Finding he lacked the mental capacities for even the most menial tasks, he was then promoted to court jester, a position in which he thrived.
After his death on Jabba's sail barge, an endowment fund was established in Crumb's name on his home planet of Dagobah. A wrongful death lawsuit was brought against Luuke Skywalker but was still in litigation in the Imperial court system at the time of the fall of the Empire.
