Owen Lars

Owen Cunningham Lars (born 60 BBY, died 1 BBY) was moisture farmer on Tatooine and son of Cliegg Lars.

When his father died he inherited ownership of the family's failing moisture farm which was made all the more unsuccessful by the giant water cooler installed at Toschi Station. As a young man he dated a young, upstart, perky, professional Tatooine girl named Beru, and quickly broke her spirit as they succumbed to a terrible, desolate life of moisture farming and blue milk. One day Ben "OB1" Kenobi dropped a parcel at the Lars homestead, which ended up being Luuke Skywalker. Owen Lars is closely related to the character Lars Ulrich who makes a brief cameo in Star Wars 2: Attack of the Clones.
Luuke Skywalker proved to be a terrible, whiny foster child who cared only for power converters, but Owen and Beru's pains were alleviated when stormtroopers burned them to death.
