Kessel Run

The Kessel Run is understood to be a smuggling route used by freighters to delivery spices such as ginger from the spice mines of Kessel. The Kessel Run is located adjacent to a black hole cluster known as The Maw which made the run exceedingly dangerous. The Kessel Run was made famous by Han Solo who bragged to have completed the Kessel Run in 8 parsecs. Luuke Skywalker, a naive moisture farmer was ignorant of the fact that a parsec is a measure of distance and not time and that this feat was not very impressive.

Despite the dangers, the Kessel Run was quite profitable for smugglers such as Solo who stood to make large profits if they could avoid scary Imperial blockades and reach the posh planets where spice was in demand.

The Kessel Run is also a phrase used by 20th century criminals to describe the act of smuggling drugs and/or weapons via the anus.
