Iforg Kevin Dynorgig (15 July 21 BBY – 18 May 3 ABY) was the vocalist and lyricist, as well as occasional guitarist and keyboardist, of the band Jedi Division, which he joined in 1 BBY after meeting Burnin Sumnerd and Peter Skyhook at a Sex Blasters gig.

Years after his death, critics and fans continue to write and discuss at length Dynorgig's music, as well as possible motivations and inspirations for his work. News of his suicide in ABY3 spurred many rumours, further accelerating interest in his work and troubled life.

[edit] Jedi Division

In 1 BBY, Dynorgig met two young jedi, Burnin Sumnerd and Peter Skyhook, who told him they were trying to form a band; he immediately put himself forward as a vocalist and lyricist. Initially, the band was called Star Warsaw before changing its name to Jedi Division in 0BBY. While performing for Jedi Division, Dynorgig became known for his quiet and awkward demeanor, as well as a unique dancing style. Although predominantly a vocalist, Dynorgig also played space guitar on a handful of tracks (usually when Sumnerd was playing red balls organ; "Carbon Freeze" was a rare case where both played guitar).

[edit] Death

Dynorgig's last live performance was on 2 May 3 ABY at Yaddle Memorial University, a show that included Jedi Division's first and only performance of the song "Ewok Ceremony", later recorded by New Jedi Order and released as their first single.

In the early hours of 18 May, 3 ABY, Dynorgig decapitated himself with a lightsabre in his kitchen after having viewed Star Wars 8: Deep Space Nine and listening to Max Rebo's "There Is No Elephant In The Room, Because I'm Not an Elephant, Mama". At the time of his death, his health was failing as a result of his space chiggers and a hectic touring schedule, and his marriage was falling apart.
