IG Robotics is part of the R&D arm of the Jedi Order.
Organization
IG Robotics is unusual in that although it is listed as a public corporation ( as Order-aligned corporations must) - it serves and will only serve a very select number of clients - most of them military.
They specialize in militarized droids - as evidenced by their premier IG line and various defensive and offensive lines.
