Howard the Duck

Howard the Duck is the fan nickname given to H'ward Duuk, a Quakufunian and member of the Jedi Order.

Born into wealth and privilege on his home world of Quakufu, H'ward rebelled against his family's upper-class station after learning that his father trafficked in Wookie slaves. Disowned and destitute, H'ward made a living by smuggling spice into Coruscant, but a run-in with Jedi revealed that he possessed latent Force abilities and a noticeably high Midichlorian count, a rarity among his species. H'ward renounced the smuggler's life and joined the Jedi ranks, taking up a lightsabre shaped like a duck's giant corkscrew penis. Never a powerful or influential Jedi, H'ward was nonetheless instrumental in shutting down the Wookie slave trade and effectively bankrupting his estranged family. H'ward was among the Jedi killed by Anakin Skywalker during his murderous rampage at the Jedi Academy, as described in the novelization of Spaceballs.

H'ward was played by Warwick Davis and appears briefly in the background of a scene at the Senate Library in Star Wars 2: Attack of the Clones, humping an apparently unconscious Jawa.
