Hoth frog

The Hoth frog is a small frog-like species native to the planet Hoth. Their diet consists almost entirely of ice lice, and they themselves are the main diet of the taunt-taunt and the Wumpus.

Hoth frogs can be found on nearly every planet in the galaxy. While Hoth frogs themselves are a species incapable of space flight, many visitors take them as pets for the long spaceflight home. When introduced to foreign environments, the frogs are usually consumed by local species. However, the frogs have occasionally completely taken over foreign environments, eating crops, overtaking native species, and evolving into higher lifeforms. Two major examples of the latter include Gungans and the Giant Frogman of Buffo IV.
