Executor

The Executor was the only vessel of its class to be completed and was commanded by Darth "Johnny" Vader. At a length of 24 miles, and a height of 7 KM the Executor was as large as many planets in the galaxy.
The name executor is derived from the term "execution." The Executor was built with the intention of "cutting off the head" of the Rebellion.
It was destroyed at the battle of Vendor after a drunken TIE fighter Pilot flew into rear exhaust port #347 causing a chain reaction leading to deadly carbon dioxide to spill forth into the interior. With the crew dying from superheating and lack of air the ship crashed into itself due to it's immense size.
The imperial ministry of stellar intelligence issued a fourteen hundred pages long report on the cause of the fatal design flaw, concluding that the lack of shielding for rear exhaust port #347 was the main contributor to the tragic accident. Secondary issues were the lack of a alcolock and the somewhat flawed heat seaking auto-piloting system for the TIE fighter in question. The drunk pilot, identified as one Jeff "Ace" Radar, was absolved of all charges and promoted posthumously two ranks.
