Endor Holocaust

The Endor Holocaust was a systematic enslavemenet of the Ewok race that ultimately contributed to the extinction of the species.

Decades after the fall of the Empire, the New Jedi Order orchestrated an enslavement of the Ewok race. This enslavement was then systematically covered-up, with hush money being paid out all over the galaxy in an effort to keep the truth from being uncovered. The Jedi chose only to enslave the Ewok race and did not harm many other races on the planet of Endor, such as the Mon Calimari or the Wookiees. It is thought that the Ewoks were targeted as they were weakened by years of radiation exposure brought on by the destruction of the Third Death Star in Star Wars 6.

To this day, scholars argue as to the responsibility of the other inhabitants of Endor who chose to turn a blind eye to the suffering of the Ewoks.
