E-11 blaster assault rifle
The standard issue weapon for most Stormtroopers during the height of the Galactic Empire, the E-11 blaster assault rifle was widely considered the most accurate and deadly weapon in the galaxy. When used as suppression fire, or to take on stationary, non-moving targets, the E-11 blaster rifle was capable of inflicting a truly catastrophic amount of damage on the intended target(s). Unfortunately, the E-11 took a large time to charge up (due to sub-standard Tibanka Gas cartridges and a fairly nasty recoil kick), plus the E-11's had a tendency to mis-fire wildly at all angles when used in close proximity to sudden, rapidly moving targets.
The E-11 was also nicknamed the "flashlight" by troops due to the rare tendency of the weapon to discharge the ignited Tibanka gas through the focus barrel in a steady (but useless) stream of light.
