Duke Dooku

Duke Dooku is the illegitimate son of Darth Tyrannosaurus and a recurring supporting character in the Star Wars films. He has the distinction of being one of the few movie characters to fight for both the Empire and the Rebellion, depending on which side proved more marketable at the time.

Duke was first introduced in The Star Wars Holiday Special, in which he was a disgruntled holovid viewer who took offense to Darth "Johnny" Vader interrupting his Wookiee soap operas. He was then seen in Star Wars 3, as a mercenary and one of several lovers taken by Padme Amidala in response to Anakin Skywalker being impotent and abusive. He later resurfaced in Star Wars 6: Revenge of the Jedi, taking part in the assault on the second Death Star and seeking vengeance upon "alien bastards." This dialogue was removed in the German release of the movie and replaced with the sound of a man yodeling.

He is currently scheduled to appear in Star Wars Forever, a long-in-production Star Wars sequel directed by Joel Schumacher.
