Darth Bane

Darth Bane was the son of the legendary Jedi Bendu Yoda. He was turned to the Dark Side at a young age when he did not receive what he wanted for christmas.
He was a powerful Sith, perhaps second only at the time to Roderick Palpatine, though the two never met. He could lift rocks and ships with his mind, change red lights to green, and drink a tall-boy in 3 seconds. Like all Sith he could also hold his breath for an hour at a time.
When Yoda realized he had turned to the evil side they engaged in battle with Bane eventually falling to his father's lightsabre.
His death was used in the Star Wars universe as a cautionary tale told to naughty children. Mothers across the galaxy would say "Now don't you misbehave or else daddy is gonna come home and sabre you right in the keester!" These children would certainly shape up after that!
In a story in the Extended Universe whose continuity is still in debate, Dart Bane was cloned by three half-Siths from the planet Xorn who, in their words, "Just wanted to see what would happen". His clone killed them all and every Xornian it could reach. Eventually a duel was held between Clone Bane, Yoda, and Luuke Skywalker. In a twist from the original battle, Yoda was killed by Bane's Dark blade, though Luuke managed a tight victory by remembering the Force was with him.
The tale is in debate because canon has Yoda dying many many years before that fight.
