Beard

Beard was a Gungan of Naboo who volunteered to accompany Jar Jar Binks on the quest to destroy the Trade Federation. He was an honourable, wise, and stalwart warrior, favouring the Gungan gungagun as his weapon.

Beard became deeply enamoured upon meeting Nute Gunray, and forged a friendship with him; this relationships aided greatly in the rehabilitation of the long-weak relationship between the Trade Federation and the Gungans of Naboo.

Beard was also the only Gungan in recorded history not to sport facial hair.
