Admiral Ackbar
From Ewokpedia
"Onward! Nothing could possibly go wrong!"
Admiral Ackbar, real name Stephen Q Ackbar, was a Mon Calamari who grew up in poverty on the planet Quard. When he was a little squid of seven moon-years old, his parents were caught in a trap and killed, which led to his lifelong fear and hatred of traps.
When he turned twelve years old he was forced by law to join the imperial army as a recruit/janitor. There he met another young recruit named Han Solo, and the two became good friends, and bunked together sophomore year. They spoke at length about how the empire was wrong and how one day they'd rage against the machine from the inside. During this period, both would often smoke Space-weed and just sit around talking about how weird it was that they were in space, and how star destroyers never actually destroy stars. The next year, when Han flunked out of the empire, Ackbar found himself alone and sad. When the Emperor assigned him head slave he wad quite happy at first, but soon grew weary of the hours and work-load. When he heard a stormtrooper describe the job as a trap, he knew he had to quit, as he hated traps.
He escaped the empire and found his way to Coruscant where he got a job at a Long Darth Silvers as the mascot. It was there where he began preaching the word of poet/prophet Claxxon Bigsmaller and was subsequently arrested by the empire for peaceful protest, which was against space-law.
In prison he met Ewan Macgreegor, an ewok from naboo who was in prison for being short. Ewan told him about the rebellion and Ackbar was bout it bout it. When he was released he took the first freightor to the rebel base to join up.
Stephen played a pivotal role in the events depicted in Revenge of the Jedi, as the rebels quickly took notice of his hatred of traps, which gave him the ability to see them coming a mile away. This ability scored him a sweet chair on the Millennium Falcon for the final battle. (Originally this seat was reserved for Tuvok, but he decided to ride in the cargo hold). Ackbar sealed his place in the Star Wars mythos when he said his catchphrase: "Oh no! A Trap!" And saved all the rebels from being trapped.
Sadly after the big battle the rebels had no use for a trap-smelling space octopus. He died penniless and alone in the desert of Tatooine.
